WELCOME
Welcome to Redpoint Youth Clubs! We’re thrilled you want to join one of our Little Monkey, Rock Monkey or Lead Monkey Clubs! Before you start, here is some key information about the clubs.
For any child nearing the next age group, we’ll contact you to offer you any spaces. We will always try to offer you a club at a similar time to your current one unless you’ve requested a different time/day.

Club Pathway:
1 – Little Monkeys (4-6) Wild Climbers
These sessions are ideal for getting young climbers into climbing as well as beginning a lifelong journey of sport and physical ability! Climbing is an incredible way to improve many skills, both on and off the climbing walls, let them learn these skills through fun games and activities, guided by our enthusiastic instructors.
2 – Rocky Monkeys (7-10) NICAS 1 – 3+
Our weekly sessions focus on having fun while learning the key skills of climbing (agility, balance and coordination). Kids Club Membership also includes unlimited climbing outside of sessions to put skills into practice
3 – Rocky Monkeys (11+) NICAS 1 – 3+
Aside from climbing lots, improving strength and confidence, our Rock Monkeys make friends and develop social skills. We often find that many of our Rock Monkeys continue climbing into their adult lives with the friends they made on our sessions.
4 – Top Rope Sign-Off (12+)
Once competent and ready, you’ll have an assessment with an instructor to prove you know the ropes. After this, a note will be made against your name stating that you can use top ropes and auto belays!
5 – Lead Monkeys (12+) NICAS 4 / Youth Social
Lead Monkeys is a more advanced session for any over 12s who can competently top rope and want to take their climbing to the next level.
Youth Social is another option for those who have completed the top rope or lead sign-off and do not want to continue with the NICAS level 4 syllabus. This session is coach-facilitated on Thursday evenings from 8 to 9:30 p.m., and unlimited membership to the centre is available anytime. Please note that if you want to learn to lead climb, you must complete Lead Monkeys, as this will not be taught in Youth Social.
6 – Lead Sign-Off (12+)
Once competent and ready, you’ll have an assessment with an instructor to prove you know the ropes. After this, a note will be made against your name stating that you can lead climb in our centre!
7 – Academy NICAS 5 / Squad
These performance-focused sessions are for those wanting to progress further to NICAS level 5 and competition climbing. Please get in touch to discuss joining either of these sessions. We’re always keen to hear from driven young climbers who want to get involved.

Supervising
Check out our supervision page to make sure you’re able to supervise your little ones outside of their club sessions.
Billing, Cancellations & Time Off
Billing
Your monthly payment reserves your child’s space on their club. We run billing on the 1st of the month or shortly after. You will be billed in full for your child’s club each month, regardless of how many sessions there are in the month. This means that some months you will be able to attend a session every week, however club sessions do not run outside of term times – see our term timetable tab for our term dates. Please note that weekend clubs average 1 session per term less than some other clubs, but are charged at the same price due to their popularity. You child is welcome to start at any point during the month, but it will be billed in full – so it may be prudent to wait a week until the next month for the best value!
Cancellations
If you wish to leave the clubs you must let us know your leaving date no later than 2 weeks before you wish to leave. Your child is welcome to stay until the very end of their last month. You will not receive a partial refund if you stop attending part way through a month, or if there are weeks without sessions. It might be good to see which month is the best to finish on to make the most of your monthly bill.
You can cancel from the Cancellation page online.
Injuries, Holidays & Missed Sessions
Unfortunately, we are unable to freeze or refund payments if your child is unable to attend their club due to being injured, sick, going on holiday or being absent. Your monthly payment reserves your child’s space in their club. We will not provide partial refunds for weeks where climbing is missed due to injury, personal or national holidays or any other reason.
