Redpoint and Young Bristol Community Engagement Partnership
Redpoint has teamed up with the Young Bristol Outdoor Employment Program to engage young people with barriers to education and employment to offer workplace volunteering experiences. The scheme develops workplace skills, training and qualifications in the climbing industry. Redpoint in conjunction with Young Bristol runs a mentor scheme that supports young adults to gain their CWI and experience working in a Climbing centre. We also run a volunteer scheme where they can gain real experience and support our staff in delivering sessions to customers
The Young Bristol Outdoor Employment Program allows all young people age 16 – 25 to develop skills, confidence and instructor qualifications in a range of outdoor activities. Thanks to amazing organisations such as Redpoint, community engagement partnerships allow young people to access wider work experience and employment opportunities.
