Redpoint Bristol is proud to support Queer Climb – a monthly social session for LGBTQIA+ adults of all abilities.

Created to offer a welcoming space for queer climbers to connect, make friends, and climb together in a supportive environment, Queer Climb runs on the 4th Friday of each month, 7–9pm, with extra sessions popping up occasionally.

Whether you’re a first-timer or lifelong climber, you’re welcome here! During the session, entry is £11 including shoe hire.

Expect a relaxed, community-led vibe where we cheer each other on and share tips – no formal coaching, just collaborative problem-solving and good energy.

Sessions also run at Flashpoint Bristol on the 1st Thursday of the month.

Queer Climbing is a community group supported by Flashpoint and Redpoint Bristol.

It is run by a group of climbers who want to make climbing more accessible to people in the LGBTQ+ community.

They meet up regularly to provide a friendly, welcoming, community space where the group can climb together and express themselves freely.

Everyone is welcome no matter what your climbing experience! There is NO fitness or strength criteria. All levels are welcome, even complete novices!

The Redpoint meet ups will focus more on roped climbing, as well as a bit of bouldering. If you are not a competent rope climber then a volunteer from the group will supervise you on the ropes. When booking, please answer if you are a competent rope climber or if you need supervision so that the Queer Climbing group can prepare with enough volunteers for the evening.
