Learn to lead climb! Climbing from the ground with no rope above you, clipping yourself into the quickdraws as you progress towards the anchors, and feeling accomplished! What could be better?

Our bespoke courses are designed to turn you into a confident lead climber, ready to tackle all the walls in the centre and beyond, preparing you for outside sport climbing.

Subjects to be covered include clipping, dynamic belaying, falling and loads of other climbing skills.

Prerequisites: You must be a competent top-rope belayer & be able to climb grade 5+ comfortably

Lead courses are best booked in pairs. If you do not have a partner to book with then contact us and we will try our best to put you in contact with other people wishing to learn to lead.

You can cancel your bookings so long as you give us reasonable notice. This is different depending on what type of session you have booked.

Single Sessions: 72 hrs notice required
Parties: 7 days notice required.
Term Bookings: 7 days notice required (from the first session)

Our doors open at 10am. Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to check you’ve filled in your waiver and use the bathroom before your session.
An accompanying adult must be present to sign in participants (aged 4-17) and must stay in the building throughout the session.
Parking: We have limited free parking spaces immediately outside the centre. Further free parking can be found along Luckwell Road.
