The ideal sessions for schools, clubs and groups looking to progress their technical climbing skills and build a foundation towards independent climbing. Within these sessions your group will work to learn their knot tying, belaying and harness as well as communication, physical ability and confidence.
The NICAS climbing scheme can be used to complement the GCSE curriculum for Edexcel, OCR and AQA. Over a minimum of 5 sessions our qualified instructors will teach NICAS level 1 & 2, after which pupils should be well prepared for their GCSE. If additional teaching time is required this can be organised on request.
Each individual exam board’s specific syllabus can be included if required, just let us know prior to your session. For more information on the NICAS scheme, check out their website.
It doesn’t matter if your group isn’t working towards their GCSEs, this package will take participants through all the skills needed to be a competent rope climber.

We welcome a diverse range of climbers through our door and always want to ensure we give you the best experience possible. If your child has a special educational need or a disability, some sessions may be more appropriate than others e.g. less busy and quieter music. We would recommend giving our reception a call to discuss your needs and help find you the best option.
