An all-weather action-packed climbing area where adults and kids can enjoy some dynamic and challenging fun! This area has 20+ challenges to try, all with their own unique style. From a flashy light-up volcano to teetering towers, we have something for the whole family.

Adults and children are welcome on Open Sessions so long as everyone is at least 6 years old (Under 7s and SEND participants may need to be supervised in the arena by an accompanying adult).

Your session will be 1.5hrs long: this includes 30mins to get checked in, harnessed up, briefed and have a practice with the self-clipping system.

Our instructors are well trained and super friendly. During your session there will be at least 1 instructor per 12 participants to support the climbers and make sure everyone is climbing safely.

Our doors open at 10am. Please arrive promptly for the start of your session and make sure you allow yourself time to check-in, use the toilet and wait for others to arrive. At the start of your session there will be a 30 mintue safety briefing. Participants who are 15 mins or more late to the session will miss the safety briefing and harnessing and therefore may not be able to participate.

What to wear: You must wear closed toe shoes to your session, trainers are ideal. No sandals or wellies! We recommend long sleeves and leggings, tracksuit trousers or other loose fitting active-wear. Please remove jewellery and tie back long hair.

Approximately the first half hour is briefing, kitting-up and practice, followed by about 55 mins of climbing with 5 minutes at the end to dekit and say goodbye.

Under 6s – this session is not appropriate for children 5 years old or under.

6 & 7 year olds – they will need an accompanying adult to help them clip in and out. The adult must watch the safety brief (the clipper does not pay).

8 – 17 year olds – this age group can normally use the self-clipping system unaided, so can participate without an accompanying adult. We therefore prefer adults accompanying this age group to watch from outside the arena. However, please do not bring more than one spectator per group.

Participants aged 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult to check-in each visit and must stay in the building throughout the session.

18 years plus – adults are more than welcome to book on to this session.

SEND Participants – it is up to the participants, and those accompanying SEND participants, to judge if the session is appropriate. We normally ask that accompanying adults of SEND participants come into the arena to assist with safety and clipping in and out. Accompanying adults must watch the safety brief.

Open Session – this is an open session, so you will be joined by other participants.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate parties bringing their own food into the cafe after sessions, however we have party rooms available to book on a first come, first served basis. Please visit our Kids Parties page to book our party package.

You can cancel your bookings so long as you give us reasonable notice. This is different depending on what type of session you have booked.

Single Sessions: 72 hrs notice required
