Climbing is the perfect adventure activity to capture a group’s interest whilst also raising self-esteem, building confidence and developing the participants’ teamwork and social interaction skills.

The fantastic range of climbing areas we have at Redpoint are guaranteed to challenge and inspire groups, no matter what their skill level. Climbing can also offer a stimulating alternative to conventional school sports as well as helping to fulfill National Curriculum requirements.

ENJOY

Ratio: 1:12 (1:6 for groups who require additional support)

Participants: Minimum of 6, maximum of 24

Ages: 6 – 17 years old

Duration: 1.5 hours (including safety briefing)

Cost: £15 per participant (book 20 spaces and get 4 free spaces)

 

 

CLIP

  • NICAS Clip is a fantastic brand new climbing scheme
  • Focus on the safe use of auto belays
  • Providing fun experiences through the gamification of sport and movement skills that underpin climbing techniques.

These sessions are booked for 8 participants in blocks of 6 consecutive weeks at a cost of £470 total. This also includes all kit needed and NICAS Clip logbooks and digital certificates. The session is perfect for school groups who want progression but find the main climbing walls a little intimidating.

Ratio: 1:8 (1:4 for groups who require additional support)

Ages: 6-17 years old

Duration: 1 hour

Cost: £470 (booked as a 6 week term for 8 students)

Please note this option must be booked by the term, with a minimum of 6 sessions.

 

 

 

EXPLORE

  • Get your group onto the main climbing walls

Ratio: 1:6 (1:4 for groups who require additional support)

Ages: 7-17 years old

Duration: 1 hour

Cost: £65 per hour (peak) / £50 per hour (off-peak)

 

 

EXCEL

  • Take participants through all the skills needed to be a competent rope climber.
  • Complement the GCSE curriculum for Edexcel, OCR and AQA.
  • Covering NICAS level 1 & 2.
  • Pupils should be well prepared for their GCSE after 5 week block (if additional teaching time is required this can be organised on request).

Each individual exam board’s specific syllabus can be included if required, just let us know prior to your session. For more information on the NICAS scheme, check out their website.

It doesn’t matter if your group isn’t working towards their GCSEs, this package will take participants through all the skills needed to be a competent rope climber.

Ratio: 1:6 (1:4 for groups who require additional support)

Ages: 7-17 years old (14-16 suggested for GCSEs)

Duration: 1.5 hours (minimum hours suggested for NICAS level 2 is 12)

Cost: £97.50 per instructor peak & £75 per instructor off-peak (weekdays before 4 PM)

Please note this option must be booked by the term, with a minimum of 5 sessions.
